Transducer Technologies Receives Funding from Chevron Technology Ventures for Hydrogen Quality Sensor Development

Transducer Technologies Inc., a Silicon Valley startup company making nanoelectronic sensors for industrial applications, has announced that it has entered a joint development with Chevron Technology Ventures LLC (CTV). The three year funding award by CTV will be used to develop a novel line of small, low cost sensors capable of measuring minute quantities of multiple contaminates in hydrogen process and fuel streams. The sensors will be a critical component of the infrastructure needed to manufacture and deliver hydrogen to commercial users and for automotive fuel cells.
