ZAP XEBRA Electric Car Coming Soon

ZAP XEBRA

ZAP is launching a campaign to promote their XEBRA electric vehicle–they’re targeting California car and fleet buyers that want to fight high gas prices. The target retail price of the ZAP XEBRA electric car is under $10,000 and it has designed the XEBRA as what they’re calling the next generation of “city-car”. With this marketing campaign, they’re looking to “de-mystify” electric cars.

The the ZAP XEBRA electric car is truly a microcar and a green vehicle that’s reasonably priced. From what I can tell in published photos, the the ZAP XEBRAelectric car is truly a small car, one that would not compete very well on the roads here in Texas.

“The first buyers are saying they love the ZAP XEBRA, not only because it is a green vehicle and very affordable, but also fun,” said ZAP Chairman Gary Starr. “To date the excitement has only been through word-of-mouth, but now that inventory is coming online, ZAP is beginning a more aggressive marketing outreach.”

Starr says ZAP will focus its marketing on government and corporate fleets, with several government, municipal and corporate fleets already evaluating the XEBRA for integration into their current gas fleet. ZAP has also started interviewing selective licensed dealers as part of its automotive marketing and distribution business plan.

ZAP will have several XEBRAs on display at a Sonoma County air show this weekend, sponsored by the Pacific Coast Air Museum (http://www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org/). Next week, the XEBRA is scheduled to appear at other events and test-drives in Southern California.
